A | New Delhi, Oct 21 (UNI) India recorded 2,119 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total active cases to 25,037 as per the Health Ministry data on Friday.

As many as 5 fresh fatalities were reported, taking the toll to 5,28,953.

A total of 2,582 patients recovered, taking total recoveries to 4,40,84,646 while the case fatality rate was recorded at 1.19 per cent.

The active cases comprise 0.06 per cent of the total infections, whereas the national Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.76 per cent.

According to the bulletin, 89.96 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far. In the last 24 hours, a total of 1,88,220 tests have been conducted.

"India has administered 219.50 crore (94.99 crore second dose and 21.99 crore precaution dose) of Covid-19 vaccine, so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive," Ministry data said.

9月13日10时，今年第12号台风“梅花”位于浙江省象山县南偏东方向约460公里（北纬25.8°，东经124.1°），中心最大风力为14级，风速为42米/秒（约151公里/小时）。受“梅花”影响，9月13日，福建北部海域遭遇大风，闽东渔场中东部、闽外渔场最大风力达10-11级，阵风12-14级。目前，福建海事局已启动防台III级响应，加强对台风的跟踪分析研判、预警信息发布，落实落细各项防台风措施。

B | 福建海事局根据现场风力情况，适时关停相关客渡运航线，指导客渡运船舶停航避风；加强对沿海港区危险品船、水上施工作业船、无动力船等重点船舶的巡查，提前采取停止作业、转移避风、人员撤离等防范措施；协调大型专业救助船进驻重点水域，组织沿海60艘海巡执法船艇及81艘港作拖轮做好应急待命；持续滚动播发台风预警信息，滚动播发预警信息8800余条，提醒过往船舶4000余艘。截至13日11时，福建沿海共有81艘客渡船停航，受台风影响较大的宁德、福州、平潭，共有28个水上施工项目停工，撤离30艘无动力施工船上人员458人。
